Here's an interesting poll from the folks at National Geographic and SETI (Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence). You can check it out for yourself, of course, but the two highlights for me were:
1. 60% of Americans believe that there is life on other planets.
2. 90% say that if we heard communications coming from another planet we should attempt to communicate back.
I'm with the majority on these, by the way . . .
