I don't know about you but this seemed like one of the better Grammy Award shows. My top five favorite moments were:
1. John Mayer winning Song of the Year for Daughters. I don't know what it is about that song, but I LOVE it!
2. Joss Stone and the bald and beautiful Melissa Etheridge in that Janis Joplin tribute. Holy crap - those girls can sing!
3. The whole southern rock thing - especially Sweet Home Alabama. It rocked!
4. Green Day singing American Idiot. I love that song.
5. As much as I don't like Usher (especially after talking to a friend on his road crew about what it's like touring with him), he sure can dance and seeing him with James Brown was too cool.
Biggest disappointment: U2 NOT SINGING VERTIGO!
