Donald Miller is one the best Christian writers to come along in a long time. In fact, he's just a great writer period. His first book, Blue Like Jazz, has sold surprisingly well. His latest, Searching for God Knows What, was just recently released and looks to be a success as well. A Portland, Oregon, tabloid, Willamette Week, profiles Miller in their latest edition in a story called,
"Confessions of a Dangerous Mind." It's worth a read, if for no other reason than (as my daughter pointed out) the last line!

Blue Like Jazz makes me want to move to Portland and join Donald Miller's merry band of outsider Christian writers. Instead, I guess I'll start my own outpost of Christian free thinker/writers here in Madison, WI. I'm grateful for the company but pissed off that Miller wrote and published the (same type of) book I've been working on for 5 years.
