Cape Blanco

I feel like every new state park I stay it automatically becomes my favorite. That is now true with Cape Blanco State Park. This one is gorgeous! 

The 52 campsites are situated in a beautiful grove if Sitka Spruce and some back up to the ocean. Well, a distant ocean but you can glimpse it and hear it through the trees. 

    You can see the ocean through the trees. Trust me on this. 

There are some nice short hikes and a great nearby lighthouse that is open for tours from April through October. I might have to try and get a job as a tour guide here!

And the bluff overlooking the ocean is a great spot for viewing the sunset!  Check out the pics below!
