No Surprise To Me . . .

. . . of course, I may still be bitter and angry about my own divorce. Nonetheless, here's an interesting study that claims . . .
Divorce rates among conservative Christians were significently higher than for other faith groups, and for Atheists and Agnostics.

As a victim of divorce myself, it's easy for me to say, "DUH!" but, more seriously, I think part of the reason Christian's are more prone to divorce is that God tells them it's okay. Okay, maybe not. But, as Christians, we are too quick to follow our own feelings and claim that "God told me." And somehow our feelings override what scripture says about divorce, which is clearly: "God thinks divorce is a very bad idea."
