We Love Jesus! Yes We Do! We Love Jesus! How 'Bout You?

Students at a Catholic high school in Virginia Beach, Virginia, got themselves in trouble by chanting "We Love Jesus" during a basketball game against a team from a largely Jewish high school. The Baltimore Sun reports that:

A Catholic school principal has organized sensitivity training for students who shouted "We love Jesus" during a basketball game against a school with Jewish students.

The word "Jew" also was painted on a gym wall behind the seats of Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School students attending the Feb. 2 game at Norfolk Academy, said Dennis W. Price, principal of the Virginia Beach school.

Just one more reason we can't allow prayer in schools if it will lead to something like this. (Just kidding . . .)

Jesus, Mary and Joseph!

Could it be "one of the most significant archeological finds in history?" The discovery of a cave that is said to contain the coffins of Jesus - and others - will be detailed in an upcoming film produced by Titanic director James Cameron and others. As hard as it is to believe, the film asserts that:

Six of the ten coffins were carved with inscriptions reading the names: Jesua son of Joseph, Mary, Mary, Matthew, Jofa (Joseph, identified as Jesus’ brother), Judah son of Jesua (Jesus’ son - the filmmakers claim).

Since the ossuary that was said to contain the bones of James, the brother of Jesus, turned out to be a fake, you can count on this discovery getting even more intense scrutiny.
