Door Jammed

I've been a subscriber of the Wittenburg Door for more than half of my 52 years. As "The World's Pretty Much Only Religious Satire Magazine" I have long felt it filled an important role in the Church. Mike Yaconneli, the original publisher, is one of my heroes. When the magazine was sold to the Trinity Foundation I was impressed when I heard about some of their ministry efforts and their investigations into them sleazy televangelist types. I figured these were my kinda guys. But take a look at this article in the Dallas Observer titled The Cult of Ole and you'll see that the Trinity Foundation and it's leader, Ole Anthony, are about as weaselly as some of the televangelists they've had it in for. I could not be more disappointed . . .
