So, let's see . . .

When a white woman, Terri Schiavo, was desperately clinging onto death, Congress came racing back to Washington to try to save this one precious life.

But then, when Hurricane Katrina came along and left thousands of black men, women and children in a ginormously life threatening situation, well, they decided today they will wrap up their vacations a bit early and plan "to approve the request by the weekend."
