DeLay Wants To Be Humble

While I think the National Day of Prayer is essentially a good idea, I have this uncomfortable feeling that it's a way for rich, white folks to push their less than godly agenda. So pardon me for being cynical about Tom Delay's remarks at the National Day of Prayer gathering on Capitol Hill yesterday. Check out this Washington Post article, DeLay Calls for Greater Humility. My favorite part of his comments? "If we spent less time ducking responsibility and more time welcoming it. If we spent less time on our soapboxes and more time on our knees." Oh please . . .
