Books and Authors That Have Most Influenced Pastors

Rick Warren, Rick Warren and sometimes John Maxwell. Those are the authors who have had the most impact on pastors as ministry leaders, according to Barna Research. In addition to Rick Warren's books, The Purpose Driven Life and The Purpose Driven Church, there were a couple of books by John Maxwell, as well. Only a handful of other books even made the list. One of them, Philip Yancey's, What's So Amazing About Grace, is one of my all time favorites.
