A Killer Icon?
This one is too outrageous to believe! According to an article at WorldNet Daily, "a museum in St. Petersburg, Russia, has removed an ancient icon depicting Jesus Christ from display because the piece of art's "energy field" reportedly has killed several staff members." Uh huh. Sure . . .

Tiger Beat New Testament?
Another sign of the Apocalypse! A Christian publisher, Transit Books, has "taken a cue from the likes of "Vogue" and "Cosmo" and published the magazine "Revolve." You wouldn't know it by looking at it, but "Revolve" is actually a glossy version of the New Testament aimed at teenage girls. " That's according to an article and interview by CNN's Wolf Blitzer!

UnLabor Day
It's Labor Day and I don't have much to show for it. While my wife, Nancy, took our oldest son, Jake (19), back to school at Whitworth College in Spokane, WA, I stayed at home with our youngest son, Jeremy. Actually Jeremy was gone all afternoon at work (Cold Stone Creamery) and I hung out at home with our dog, Rudy.
This afternoon Rudy and I watched Lawrence of Arabia - a movie I've been wanting to watch again for some time. This evening Jerm and I watched Bringin' Down Da House (Steve Martin, Queen Latifah and Eugene Levy). A pretty dang funny movie.
