Chief Joseph is The Man! His story and that if the Nez Perce people is rooted here in this area at the base of the Wallowa Mountains. They deserved this place but didn't get to keep it. They deserved better cuz they were the good guys. Today I am heading out on one of my favorite drives - over the Wallowas (and a spectacular view of Hells Canyon) to another favorite town, Halfway, OR.
