The Purpose Driven Marketing Plan

Unlike the Prayer of Jabez, I think Rick Warren's Purpose Driven Life is a solidly written book that has a great message for every Christian. I've always suspected, however, that there was a very strategic marketing plan behind it's success. I attend one of the first churches that went through the 40 Days of Purpose, and I suspected the book was definitely poised to take off in a big way. I had no idea how big, but I wasn't wrong about that being part of the strategy.
